Your Father is a decision-maker and you are made in His image!
Not only has Abba given us
free-will, but He has also
called us to mature as his sons in the process of decision-making:
“Baby” Christians (understandably) need lots of direction, maturing sons need less direction for
simple decisions (as they learn the Father’s will more fully), and mature sons have the ability
mandate to speak for their Father. Steve shares examples of these levels of
decision-making through which the sons of God are blessed to advance, with His strong
support. The contrast between servants (or “orphans”) and mature sons of God is summarized
in a simple way: “Servants wait for instructions, while sons make decisions!” You will be
helped in your growth as a decision-maker as you embrace this yearning of Abba’s heart for you
to become more like Him.

When God called Steve Trullinger into healing ministry in 1995, he was at that time an Associate Professor of Physics at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Steve already knew that he would be trading his secure, tenured academic position for a faith-walk of adventure, trusting in the Lord’s design for the second half of his life. His twenty-five years as an educator and researcher helped prepare him to train healing and evangelistic mission teams and to help many to understand the synergisms of spiritual gifts in the ministries of healing and evangelism.
Late in 2000, Steve founded The Father’s Touch Ministries, based in California, and has helped to launch and direct many healing teams of volunteers in North America, as well as lead over 20 short term mission teams focused on healing and evangelism in East Africa. These teams have been blessed to lead several tens of thousands to Christ and bring the Father’s healing touch to many thousands of sick in hospitals, villages, slums, and Freedom Festival crowds. One of Steve’s favorite pastimes is to help his team members get “wrecked beyond recognition!”
