When you receive more of the freedom God has purposed for you, he receives more blessing!

Because Abba is “others-focused” (rather than “self-focused”), he is blessed when you are blessed! So, when you progressively receive more of the freedom that he purposed for you, he receives more blessing. Freedom from the penalty of sin is just the beginning of our blessing. For example, freedom from negative thoughts (lies) provides even more blessing. Our glorious freedom, however, is not limited to a mere escape from negativity and Steve delights in sharing that Abba desires much more for us. Joy can be experienced in the process of obtaining freedom, but freedom once attained through salvation and deliverance is no longer a focus of our thinking! Rather, freedom becomes a faded concept as we focus instead on our exquisite relationship with Abba that he purposed for us before the beginning. True freedom is something that, once attained, is no longer on the “radar screen!” The joy that it brings will not be dependent on a comparison to sadness; the innocence of the initially pure life of Adam and Eve that will again one day be ours will necessarily accommodate the purest joy possible!

Steven Trullinger

When God called Steve Trullinger into healing ministry in 1995, he was at that time an Associate Professor of Physics at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Steve already knew that he would be trading his secure, tenured academic position for a faith-walk of adventure, trusting in the Lord’s design for the second half of his life. His twenty-five years as an educator and researcher helped prepare him to train healing and evangelistic mission teams and to help many to understand the synergisms of spiritual gifts in the ministries of healing and evangelism.

Late in 2000, Steve founded The Father’s Touch Ministries, based in California, and has helped to launch and direct many healing teams of volunteers in North America, as well as lead over 20 short term mission teams focused on healing and evangelism in East Africa. These teams have been blessed to lead several tens of thousands to Christ and bring the Father’s healing touch to many thousands of sick in hospitals, villages, slums, and Freedom Festival crowds. One of Steve’s favorite pastimes is to help his team members get “wrecked beyond recognition!”
